Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers also have a hit on their hands with their new CD released on Rebel Records September 30th - Another Day From Life! The first single, "The Last Parade," was debuted on the Grand Ole Opry in May, received a standing ovation, and has charted throughout the summer. The band's latest single, "Now The Summer's Gone," is also gaining ground and made it's debut at #19 on the Bluegrass Today Monthly Songs chart for November. This week, SiriusXM Bluegrass Junction will debut a "Track By Track" special with an interview with Joe Mullins and Kyle Cantrell and a complete listen-through of Another Day From Life. JMRR are gearing up to host their twice-annual Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival at the Roberts Centre in Wilmington, OH happening this weekend! Speaking of the Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival, Blake Williams is gearing up to travel to Wilmington this weekend to be the master of ceremonies for this outstanding event. In addition, Blake will offer two workshops on Friday at 11:30am ET and Saturday at 11:00am ET titled, "Music, Memories, and Storytelling." He'll share some of his favorite memories from his time on the road with Lester Flatt, Bill Monroe, Mike Snider and his own band, The Expedition Show, as well as a collection of stories from his 21 years on the Grand Ole Opry. Blake is also celebrating the success of his good friend Becky Buller who recently released a new CD on Dark Shadow Records titled 'Tween Earth and Sky. The project includes a fresh version of Bill Monroe's "Southern Flavor," with new lyrics written to the famous instrumental, and is recorded with former members of Monroe's Blue Grass Boys including Blake, Roland White, Peter Rowan, Buddy Spicher, Mike Fagan, and Ernie Sykes. "Southern Flavor" is currently #24 on the National Bluegrass Survey's Top 30 Songs chart and the CD is #10 on the Top 15 Bluegrass Albums chart.
